There are a number of facilities and laboratories available. Capabilities include: microscope imaging, transgenic animals, flow cytometry, biospecimen processing, and genomics.
Instruments: three superconducting NMR spectrometers: one UnityINOVA 600 MHz (Varian), and two JEOL 270 MHz Eclipses.
Centrally-managed, high-performance computing; storage and virtualization; high-speed networking; and assistance in the areas of computational science. Eligible to anyone in West Virginia Higher Education.
SRF is open to all researchers and oversees six primary areas: nanoscience, engineering, materials science, forensics, and medicine.
