Boss LS-3655 Industrial CO2 Laser Cutter

The Boss LS-3655 Industrial CO2 Laser Cutter is a large, high precision laser cutter/engraver capable of cutting a wide range of woods, plastics, rubbers, leather, and foams. It will engrave all these materials and others including glass, most stones (granite, slate, marble), anodized aluminum, and many other materials.

Check material compatibility with shop staff: Some materials release toxic or corrosive gasses and should never be laser cut, for example PVC (polyvinylchloride) releases chlorine gas, this includes vinyl, pleather, and artificial leather.

Capabilities/Specifications

• Working area (in): 55" x 35"
• Rotary and chuck attachments for engraving or cutting 3D surfaces available
• 2" Lens available for engraving and a 4" lens is available for cutting

Materials

• Cutting: wood and foam up to 1/4", leathers and rubbers up to 1/8"
• Engraving: Almost all nonmetals and coated metals
