Physical Electronics PHI 5000 VersaProbe X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscope

The Physical Electronics PHI 5000 VersaProbe X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscope (XPS/UPS) is used for micro-area element composition and chemical state determination at material surface and depth profile analysis of structures and interfaces.

Capabilities/Specifications

  • Al, Mg and focused Al X-ray sources and He UV source
  • Spectral range of 0 to 1400 eV binding energy
  • Energy resolution of 0.50 eV
